About us
Olleco is one of the UK's largest distributors of fresh cooking oil to the catering industry and is the largest collector of used cooking oil, serving over 50,000 catering establishments. It also has a bespoke food waste collection business, ensuring that food waste never goes to landfill. Olleco has a staff of 560 with 14 depots across the country, three bio-refineries, and a state of the art recycling facility in Liverpool which produces biodiesel from used cooking oil. Everything we do at Olleco ensures that nothing left over from our food service customer is ever wasted - we call this Total Resource Recovery.
In 2015, we also won first prize for Waste Innovation in The Guardian Sustainable Business Awards.
