This company is a successful supplier of medical and scientific equipment. With a major presence in the market place they manufacture their own products as well as distributing other quality brands. Working in the medical and nuclear sectors they have a diverse and interesting client base even supplying equipment to Universities and the MOD.

The company's focus is on providing instrumentation for radiation protection, measurement and imaging. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit a graduate technical salesperson to assume responsibility for a range of instrumentation for their scientific range of products (not medical).
Your duties will be primarily customer facing, hence they are looking for a friendly and outgoing individual who enjoys building relationships. Sales presentations and technical demonstrations will become second nature to you. You will meet with personnel from various scientific sectors and at varying levels of seniority ? from Junior Physicists, Clinicians and Engineers to technical experts and Managers - you will be representing the company at the highest level.
The post will involve an initial training period of 3-6 months based at the head-office not far from Brighton.
During, and after, this training period you will travel extensively throughout the UK, promoting and selling specific products to a very mature and well established client base. You will work closely with your line manager, planning your working weeks and further developing your product knowledge and sales skills. As your expertise grows you will assume a product specialist role, responsible for key product lines and becoming an important member of the company's international sales team.
For the right candidate they will offer a good basic salary and an uncapped commission structure. They will also provide a fully-expensed company car, laptop, mobile phone and formal, certificated sales training.

- Educated to degree level in a science discipline, ideally with some experience of working in sales or a scientific role (although this is not essential).
- It is important that you grasp new scientific concepts quickly; willingness to self learn and adapt will be essential to your success.
- You must have a driving licence or be learning to drive and able to relocate or commute to the Brighton area.
- You need to be well presented, a good communicator and have a 'hands-on' approach.
