The New Media Solutions (NMS) business unit incorporates Sony DADCs digital offering to the entertainment market, offering services to blue chip clients such as EMI, BBC, Netflix, Sony Music and Sony Pictures. These digital services include Creative Services (incorporating traditional compression and authoring services), digital supply chain services for both music and video, digital media management, and exploring new opportunities in marketing, advertising and business to consumer (B2C) services.
About the Position..
We are currently looking for a Team Assistant to provide direct support to senior team members and general department support to wider team. The successful candidate will also assist with operational tasks when required to support daily production requirements.
Key Tasks...
• Provide support to team on day to day operational tasks, as required and get involved in the daily work of the department
• Consolidate required reports and generation ad-hoc reports to support daily production co-ordination activities
• Data manipulation and presentation for management dashboard and KPI reporting
• Provide support for team members in the development and management of action trackers, issues registers and overall project plan updates as necessary
• Performing data analysis of vendor performance to support assessment of supplier reviews and performance to SLAs
• Provide support to team members, including calendar management, expenses submission, taking meeting minutes and travel management
• Through proactive work with support groups such as finance and facilities, create, improve and implement efficient processes for department administration tasks, such as expenses, travel booking and invoicing
• Represent the department to support groups within DADC and provide first line support for issues to the team
• Use of software tools and systems in the preparation of media assets for production
• Other additional duties as required by management.

Requirements...
• Experience of organising a team and implementing administration processes
• Proven experience in PA, project team support or similar role
• Experience of the media technology
• Strong organisational skills across different timezone, geographical locations and support teams
• Creating/improving and implementing efficient processes
• Managing international travel requirements for a team
• Advanced knowledge of Powerpoint, Word and Excel
• Knowledge and experience of business objects or crystal reporting packages would be an advantage
• A team player who can be relied upon to participate as required during busy periods
• Enjoys a creative, collaborative team atmosphere
• Interested in digital media and technology
• Interested in getting more involved in the departments work and cross-training opportunities
• Degree qualified would be preferred
