WEMS was founded in 1990. During its first 17 years of trading, the company developed a series of increasingly advanced wired building energy management systems and installed over 8,000 worldwide.
In 2007, the company launched a revolutionary wireless building energy management system, a ground breaking development that reduces installation costs by 40%, has minimal disruption during fitting and an accelerated return on investment, typically of 12 months.
Our wireless business energy management system is web-enabled, which means simple, remote access to control settings at any site and instant reporting of system performance and business critical alarm monitoring.
Crucially, the eradication of installation cabling and lower cost base makes the system commercially viable for even the smallest buildings.
In 2011, the business was rebranded to Wireless Energy Management Systems International (WEMS). The company continues to lead the market in wireless building energy management systems technology and installations.
