Stonegate are a leading farm fresh, free range, organic egg business. Established 100 years ago, they have gone from strength to strength and now supply their high-end eggs and egg products to leading retailers including Waitrose and M&S. You may have also heard of (and tried) some of their own brands, such as Clarence Court!
The team are investing in graduates to become future managers in their operational department. They are a fantastic brand and company to join to kick-start your career with and are offering two positions.
The business are renowned for their product quality and only work with carefully selected farms to source their product.
Graduate Operations Management Scheme - £30k (rising to £33k in year two!)
Joining Stonegate on their two-year scheme, you will undertake a range of rotational placements which will gear you up for your future role.
You'll receive excellent training and support which will enable you to progress upon scheme completion. Opportunities to study for further qualifications are on offer and you'll also complete their in-house management training.
What will you get up to?
- Your first three months will introduce you to the company with thorough rotations in key business functions
- You'll move on to complete 6 months in their production and packing facility to gain hands on experience with plenty of support from senior business leaders
- Moving on, you will get involved in project-based work where you can make a real impact in process and efficiency improvement
- Finally, you'll combine all of this experience and hone your expertise to progress into a deputy shift manager
As you can imagine, Stonegate's operations continue around the clock, so you must be up for working a shift pattern. We will discuss this more with you upon your application.
What do you need?
- Degree educated in a business, operational, or related field
- Some warehouse, food storage, or operational work experience (this can be part-time)
- The ability to interview ASAP with a view to start any time between now and summer.
