Graduates will start on a structured two-year programme which combines working within the Finance function, and completing a variety of Graduate Leadership Development training sessions to develop key skills to become a future leader within Raytheon UK.
Graduates are expected to be geographically flexible for programme office rotations, and also to attend various graduate training workshops and presentations across the UK and Scotland. Graduates are fully supported with learning and career development.
Main Duties:
Program support finance to large programs, business partner to the program team and program managers
Make recommendations as to how to improve efficiency in reporting and recommend courses of action that drive improvement. (Program reporting and close using SAP and Cognos)
Ability to balance multiple priorities with tight deadlines
Account reconciliations and other post close activities
Special projects including other finance support
Working as part of a team, with high collaboration across the IPT, with an eye for detail and drive for accuracy
Ensuring compliance with company policy , US GAAP and SOX
Key player in post SAP implementation process improvement
Strong communications across functions and levels and able to communicate complex financial information to non finance staff
Rotations include Business Programme Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Central Finance
Essential:
You will have achieved (or be expected to achieve) at least a 2.1 in a Finance related degree discipline.
You will also have:
A-levels (or equivalent) with a minimum of 300 UCAS points
Be a logical thinker with excellent problem solving ability
Have strong communication skills
Be methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and able to work well under pressure.
You will have a keen preference for industry finance rather than practice
You will be able to move to various locations throughout the UK including Harlow, Glenrothes (Scotland), Uxbridge and any other location as such to execute your rotation - all graduates will be given a rotation plan prior to starting.
