My client is a global company working in over 50 countries and many of their brands are stars in their field. They are constantly looking for new ways to improve and innovate their products as well as ways to enhance the lives of customers and consumers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to begin their career in sales. This is a new role where you will be supporting the Sales Director and Account Manager with all sales related issues. You will be developing your skills, knowledge and attitude to help achieve budget goals and maximise product potential. This is a development role that will develop into a more Senior Sales and Account Management position.
Experience in a Sales Support or FMCG environment would be ideal but is not essential. Excellent communication skills and a passion to work in sales is a must.
Key Responsibilities could include:
-Supporting the UK Sales team to achieve budgeted sales and profit targets.
-Use their in house data tools to run weekly and ad hoc reports to help support insight and decision making.
-Develop KPI based reports for key accounts covering volume, value, retail, distribution etc.
-Implement sales data analysis including forecasting, profit, product analysis and recommendations in conjunction with the Sales Director to optimise business performance.
-Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with the sales team, marketing team, technical sites and finance.
-Administrative support in relation to customer Relationship Management including Pricing Amendments, Promotional Proposals, Range Reviews and liaising with the Merchandising Team.
-Develop project management skills.
Requirements:
-2:1 in BSc, BA Economics, Business Studies, Management or related
-Good A Levels or equivalent,
-Good Excel skills.
-Excellent Communication skills.
-Must be able to drive.
-Experience in a sales support or FMCG environment would be beneficial.
