This company provides support services to a number of retailers, distributors, suppliers and media outlets to businesses in the outdoor leisure industries across the UK. As part of the Association of Cycle Traders, they have a subscriber base of 4000 businesses, making it one of the fastest growing specialist business support firms in the UK.
Location - Hove, East Sussex
Start date - ASAP
This is a B2B sales role with varying responsibilities:
- Driving new business subscribers across a number of niche outdoor business sectors
- Managing existing relationships to provide exceptional customer service and retention of client base
- Identifying areas of product development to maximise existing account spend (upselling)
- Working closely with the marketing team on initiatives to enhance acquisition and retention of subscribers
- Representing the brand at trade events in order to strengthen the brand and to build new relationships
- Internal presentations on recent performance and future campaigns
You will be earning around £25K in year one based on salary and guaranteed profit share.
Requirements:
- Proven successful sales experience, ideally in a B2B setting
- Pro-active and self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude
- Quick to learn in an autonomous fashion
- Exceptional communication skills in person and via the telephone (inbound and outbound)
- Customer focused with a passion for service excellence
- An appreciation of the challenges faced by independent businesses
- To manage workload effectively, multi-tasking and often delivering against tight deadlines
- To work within a small team and contribute to other areas of the business where necessary
