About the role

In February 2022 we launch our Empowering Female Futures learning experience for those applying to our London-based Software Engineering Graduate Programme.

The experience is shaped around three pillars:

1. Inspire - have the opportunity to connect with inspiring females across our business. That includes our female Technology Leaders, females currently on our graduate programme, and members of our internal Accent on Gender network. Learn about their personal journeys, experiences, and why they choose Accenture. You'll also get a sneak peak into the workings of our Innovation Hub - and get insight into how being aware of orthodoxies can help drive technology innovation for our clients!

2. Inform - learn more about our business, the amazing technology we work with, our culture, the programme you are applying for, and what life is really like at Accenture. You'll get the opportunity to ask all the questions you might have - whatever they might be!

3. Educate - hear from our Senior Recruiters about our assessment process, why we adopt Strengths-Based Interviewing (SBI), and how you can prepare for this style of questions.

The core of this learning experience will be a one-day virtual connect on the 17th February 2022.

If you successfully complete the Online Assessment stage, we will then enroll you in the Empowering Female Futures learning experience. After attending the Empowering Female Futures virtual connect, you will be invited to an assessment centre. Please note, it is imperative to actively participate in the learning experience to be considered for the role. Please ensure you are able to attend the virtual connect on 17th February 2022 before applying.

The next available start dates for candidates who are successful at assessment centres is September 2022.

Places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The closing date for applications is 10.02.2022. We receive an extremely high volume of applications for all programmes and it is sometimes necessary to close applications earlier than anticipated. We would recommend early application to avoid disappointment.

Software Engineering Graduate Programme

On this programme, you'll get to work with some of the most advanced technologies on the market, develop industry-leading specialist skills and help transform our clients around the world. A key team member, you'll be creating the innovative technical solutions we're renowned for and driving technology development programmes for deployment in a variety of environments. As well as understanding what our clients want to achieve, you'll discover what's possible within their existing framework and explore the best technologies to achieve the most effective results. You'll take part in a number of challenging projects for a range of clients, across a variety of industries.

What you'll learn

Here, it's not just about the languages you know. Depending on the nature of the project we'll train you in technologies such as SAP, Oracle, JavaJ2EE, C#, Salesforce, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Angular.js. We'll also upskill you in the best delivery practices such as DevOps, Agile as well as Accenture delivery methods. You'll also get the chance to gain a range of industry certifications. But more than that, we want you to understand the bigger picture and develop deep industry expertise. So you'll get to learn all about IT strategy, the Accenture Technology Vision, data centre technology, security and enterprise architecture. Plus, because of the size and scope of our business, not only will you work with big-name providers like Microsoft, Oracle and SAP, but also emerging market innovators.
