The early careers recruitment industry had their latest annual summit in Manchester on 12th-13th June. Over two days there were 400 delegates and 200 joining virtually to refresh their industry knowledge and network with colleagues at the Hilton Deansgate.

GRB have been ISE (Institute of Student Employers) members for over 20 years and were invited to present once again covering Neurodiversity to a packed seminar of early careers recruiters. We were especially proud to take to the stage with Ambitious About Autism again, share their story and hear from Nicole and Jodika who gave an impassioned talk about their expereience as neurodivergent graduates.

Feedback from delegates provided by ISE was as follows;

"Huge thanks to GRB, Ambitious About Autism and the MMU graduate who spoke for their session - it was fascinating and delivered in a really bold, engaging way."

"Ambitious About Autism were great. Hearing the individual’s journey was insightful and speaker was straight to the point. Loved the actions slide at the end, great summary of what the key takeaways are."

"Amazing session, hearing the lived experiences of the speakers and their advice was invaluable! The practical actions and resources that were offered will be of huge benefit to members."

"I thought the session with GRB, Ambitious About Autism and Manchester Met was the best session I have attended in years. The two speakers, Nicole and Jodika, were utterly fantastic. They were articulate, real and provided so many really useful insights without feeling like they were trying to sell something."

"I really enjoyed the session with GRB & Ambitious About Autism as it felt authentic and there was some thoughtful suggestions."

"The GRB & Ambitious About Autism session was fantastic, it felt real and fresh and gave employers first-hand advice on how to approach and not approach this topic. I found it really inspiring and unique."
