I had the pleasure of meeting a client for a catch up recently at the Home Grown club in London. This is a fanatstic case study to learn how our graduates have progressed when we launched their careers. Read on for more detail!

"I am the Category Head for a leading retailer with 170 staff across the UK. When I have needed to recruit for graduate level roles my HR team generally don't allow us to partner with an agency and ask us to use INDEED instead. When I posted the job I had 300 applicants but none who I could actually hire so I reached out to The GRB Group. I was able to show my HR team the calibre of the CVs they were introducing and after a successful interview we made our first hire in 2022. Three years later we have now recruited six candidates through The GRB Group using their graduate and experienced level services.

The service has been impeccable from the very beginning. The first call from my account manager felt like "I" was being interviewed! This was really notable and a revelation to me. This turned out to be key as my account manager, Emma, now instinctively knows what a good cultural fit for our firm is and it's so accurate that I could hire EVERY candidate she puts forward. Consequently our staff retention is very high and we have been able to offer rapid career progression. In fact, our first hire, Eleanor, is our best case study. She is involved in our recruitment process now so candidates can see what is possible. She is very bright and quite nervous at first but her confidence grew and she is now a Category Specialist. Her journey is a brilliant success story and extremely powerful attraction tool for us.

Putting your trust in a recruitment partner usually takes time but the feedback we were getting from candidates was consistently high so it was never an issue.  Emma treated all the candidates like VIPs throughout the process almost to the point of a parental role offering reassurance and a seamless experience for every single person. This has helped each new member fit in and now all our graduate recruits are friends outside of work. What does that tell you!

 It was difficult to get HR to approve the use of an agency over job boards initially but now the ROI has been proven with The GRB Group they are now our first choice for graduate and experienced level hires. Highly recommended."
