What was your business challenge/need at the time that required a new hire?
We’ve got an on-going need for strong Trainee Recruiters and whilst there’s lots of graduates out there, it’s difficult to find graduates with that blend of intellect, emotional intelligence, drive, determination, professionalism and high energy.
Why were you looking for a graduate?
Everyone in our business is degree educated - a mix of raw graduates, graduates with a year work placement and graduates with some post graduate commercial experience. We look to hire smart, driven graduates who are looking for a career and opportunity to be autonomous and fast track their career both financially and in responsibility.

Good, GRB never bombard us with lots of CVs, instead focus on quality which is really appreciated. Just as importantly we hire a good number of these candidates.

What has been the outcome and how has the graduate made a difference?
The graduate starts in a few weeks. She will join our core UK procurement recruitment team working on a hot market with 11 years of candidates and clients to work with and the training of her direct Manager and our wider management team, whilst also growing her own candidate and clients to supplement this. She’s a big personality so we’re also looking forward to her integrating into our company and adding to our culture and high energy environment as well.
