What was your business challenge/need at the time that required a new hire?
As a small recruitment team looking to recruit four technical graduates nationally we quickly realised we needed extra support to meet such challenging objectives.
Why were you looking for graduates to join your business?
We are keen to invest in young talent to ensure that as a business we do not stagnate and keep a steady flow of fresh new energy coming in to compliment our future growth strategies. It’s also an opportunity to ‘grow our own’ in readiness for future planning.

What services did GRB provide you with?
The campaign started in April and lasted three months. In that time GRB covered our graduate attraction piece, advertising of roles, CV application management, sifting and selection via telephone interviews and keep warm activity prior to our internally ran assessment centres.
How did you find the service?
Communication was excellent every step of the way. This was shown through proposals being returned promptly and regular updates being received on attraction activity alongside stats with in depth overviews of candidate uptake. They were also extremely flexible when it came to accommodating some of our internal recruiting manager requests for more info as the deadlines grew closer which helped to keep minds at ease on candidate selection. In short, we felt that Jenny and the team offered a completely personalised service and that they actually became a part of our extended team throughout the whole process.
What was the outcome?
We were able to fill all of the spaces available for our 2017 assessment centre with some high calibre candidates. Four candidates were then chosen and have now been successfully recruited for the following positions: quantity surveyor, architectural technologist, land buyer and strategic planner and have now successfully joined our team in Chorley.
