The Post Office are a trusted British brand seeking ten graduates for their Graduate Rotational Management Scheme. Here’s how it happened;
What was your business challenge/need at the time that required a new hire?
We needed a recruitment partner for a project that required expertise with attraction, assessment and selection.
Why were you looking for a graduate?
Several senior staff have come up through the ranks from our graduate scheme and the organisation values the return on this investment in grass roots recruitment.
Why did you decide on GRB against other options?
They offered the most competitive package, the expertise and we had heard good things about GRB and their RPO team.
"We feel they went over and above with their support."
What services did GRB provide you with?
GRB provided a fully outsourced service including:
Marketing and Campaign Design – including promotional day in the life video production, landing page design, advert creation and all other relevant materials required for the campaign
Attraction – Attraction of over 1,100 high calibre candidates obtained through a variety of activities such as University Networking, promotional phone calls, targeted advertising campaigns utilising GRB’s database, Social Media and much more
Selection – CV application management, CV Sifting, Video interview platform design (using GRB’s platforms) Video Screening, Telephone Interviews through to Assessment Centre Support and Offer Management.
How did you find the service?
The service was excellent. GRB engaged with us throughout every stage of the process detailed weekly reports and regular conference calls ensuring we were fully informed at all times. We feel they went over and above with their support including attending and supporting us with our assessment days at very short notice. They are a great team who are a real pleasure to work with.
What has been the outcome and how has the graduate made a difference?
The calibre of the candidates that they provided to us were of an extremely high standard. This meant that we had some challenging decisions to make and the GRB team also supported us with our final offers. This increased the number of graduate placements we intended to make. We were very pleased with the outcome and are already planning and looking forward to next year’s campaign.
