This company are a thriving civil engineering consulting company with over 35 years in the Infrastructure Industry. Due to rapid expansion of their workload, the company are looking to take on two new people to join their successful team.
The Role
This role is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring graduates, ready to make a real impact within the Infrastructural Engineering Sector.
You will have the opportunity to work within their esteemed Infrastructral Design team, getting involved with every aspect of the business. Due to the size of the business you'll have great exposure to the whole team, working on fine details with the technicians and discussing projects or clients with the Directors.
In essence the role will cover:
- Advising on engineering designs from conception through to construction
- Liaising with clients, authorities and agencies to agree parameters and approvals
- Producing high quality highway and drainage designs
- Providing technical drawings and calculations
- Confidential report writing
Training

Progression is another key aspect of the role. With a clear progression path in place, you will be actively encouraged to push yourself and move into more senior positions.
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering preferred but Earth Science degrees will be considered (2:1 level or above)
- Strong A-levels or equivalent
- Professional and or academic experience within Infrastructural Design (pay will increase considerably for those with over a years worth of professional experience)
- Strong skills within AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and AutoTrack are desirable
- Excellent English written and verbal skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience of Highways and Drainage Designs
- Understanding of Technical Agreements and Building Control Approval
- 3D design software skills
- An understanding of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges
- Knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY and TRICS
