My client is a world leader in providing detection equipment to the rail industry. As a global organisation headquartered in Austria my client holds new product innovation, high customer service and quality products as key to their success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate to join a highly successful company which provides railway signalling and train control systems to major names in the rail industry, used in over 60 countries!
As a Technical Engineer you will be involved in providing technical support to large clients in the UK rail industry, including London Underground, Network Rail and Alstom with the potential to work on international clients in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil (just to name a few) as you progress within the role.
In this highly varied position you will be involved in discussions during the commissioning phase to plan and organise rail projects and you will provide technical solutions and appropriate recommendations to clients based on these plans.
You will also be required to assist clients with the installation of equipment, fault finding and analysis of technical issues during the commissioning stages and provide technical back up and alternative solutions where necessary.
Excellent training and the chance to travel will be provided during the initial induction programme which will take place at the Headquarters in Austria. This will give you a great opportunity to view how the larger business operates and how your role is fundamental to wider business functions. Throughout your time with the company you will also receive excellent training and support as you progress and grow within the role.

Essential skills:
- 2:1 level or above in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong A-levels or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience is not essential but an interest in the rail sector is important
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written are desired
- Confidence to travel independently within the role is desired.
