This independent environmental consultancy is based in the UK but also has a total of 55 multi-disciplinary offices located throughout Europe. Their professional services cover a broad range of integrated multi-disciplines on a wide range of environmental disciplines, covering such diverse areas as town planning, waste management, transport planning, impact assessment, engineering design and asset, resource and risk management issues. They assist SMEs and large companies, financial institutions, property developers, governments and many public sector organisations and NGOs. This is the chance for you to join a diverse and talented team in a role that will offer structured training and support towards chartered status.
Your technical knowledge will be utilised predominantly in the Nuclear and Defence sectors where you will carry out critical analysis based around risk identification and management. From day one you will be given responsibility and variety working on a number of exciting areas including:
- Hazard identification
- Fire and explosion engineering
- Qualitative and quantitative risk assessment
- Safety case development
- Consequence analysis
- Safety management systems
- ARM analysis
Apply now if you have:
- A 2:1 or above in a Physics or Engineering related degree from a Top 40 University, or equivalent
- A-level equivalents in Maths and Physics at a minimum grade B
- Excellent communication and team working skills
A relevant internship or placement year will be particularly advantageous!
