As a specialist in manufacturing components for medical devices and scientific instruments, this company are leaders in a highly interesting and niche sector. They are a small but rapidly growing company with large OEM clients who are key names in the industry. With new, high tech facilities in house this company can design, develop and manufacture components all on one site to the highest standards.
As a Graduate Engineer in this business you will be given immediate responsibility and hands on work in the development of products and processes. You will use the latest equipment (newly acquired laser cutting and welder systems) and will be given superb one on one training from highly skilled and experienced Engineers.
The role will be varied and will include mechanical design using CAD as well as CNC programming, project management, testing, client liaison and much more, giving you a hugely rewarding start to your career and allow you to develop in an expanding and profitable company. There will be travel opportunities both within the UK and internationally.

This position is open to the best calibre graduates who have achieved:
-A 2:1 or above level degree in an Engineering or Science subject, preference given (although not limited to) Mechanical Engineering or Physics from a top 40 University
-Ideally you will have A's or B's in Maths and Physics at A-level
-300 UCAS points as a minimum
-Good knowledge of Solidworks
-Driving licence is required
In addition to the technical requirements you must also have:
-Some experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-A 'can do' attitude
-A passion for engineering and an appetite for challenging work
-An ability to problem solve and think individually
-Ability to work in a small, multidisciplinary team
-Language skills will be considered a great bonus
