Capitalise on your strong quantitative and qualitative research skills within this manufacturing focused market research role. A rare opportunity has arisen for an aspiring researcher to start their career on a three year graduate programme, with a view to developing you into a Market Manager.
Through a mix of projects, you will conduct market mapping and analysis in order to help the company understand which market segments to develop and which customer profiles could be increased. You will help devise forward thinking business strategies, which will include New Product Development ideas.
As a Graduate Market Manager, you will work throughout the whole research cycle, giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including conducting telephone based, and face to face, research with customers and clients in order to help drive the company forward into new and existing markets.
You could be analysing the different types of consumer for different manufacturing products, as well as ad hoc projects analysing the structures within the market in order to uncover competitive opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team and your analysis will ultimately be used to drive the company's strategic and financial plans forward.

Requirements:
- Ideally a 2:1 level degree or above in a subject such as Business, Marketing, Psychology, Economics, Engineering, Life Science or a subject with a strong analytical element
- A-Levels or equivalent at grades B and above
- Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels
- A basic understanding of market research methodologies
- Strong examples of resilience
- Driving licence
Desired:
- Experience within a market research or marketing capacity
- Experience conducting primary research including face to face or telephone based research
- An understanding of the construction industry
