Our client is the UK base of their German parent company and they employ 60 people. They specialise in manufacturing and distributing components for industrial sectors, these include sensors, networking and control technology for automation. They have a strong client base and are leaders within their field, developing and producing a wide range of products and systems. They cover all sectors of manufacturing including food and beverage, automotive, utilities and general manufacturing.
In this role you will be:
- A member of the UK sales team focusing on the mobile machinery industry to ensure sales targets are met
- Providing technical application support and advice to existing customers and developing new relationships with the overall target for transforming both of these areas into long-lasting relationships
- Taking ownership to meet and exceed sales targets
- Using initiative and business acumen skills with the aim of increasing business volume and raising the company profile
- Demonstrating an understanding of their customers' needs and how the company can help
This role will be office based one day per week so will be majority field based, covering the north of England and Scotland. You will be given all the necessary equipment including a fully expensed company car.
An established customer base coupled with massive potential makes this a fantastic opportunity for self-motivated, outgoing candidates.
To be considered for this role you will need to be a graduate Engineer with an electrical or electronic biased qualification (2:2 minimum). You will also need to have some commercial exposure through employment and be an excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
Any experience with PLC and or Networking control systems would be of benefit but not essential.
A valid driving licence is essential as you will be travelling to client sites regularly.
