As a Researcher you will become an expert in Global Banking Markets and will need to immerse yourself into this world. Researchers for Search firms discover and map a unique who's who in the International Banking world in order to provide the Consultants with the ability to hand pick the best of the best for their clients.
As well as being able to build and develop your own personal networks in order to gather valuable information as to the movements of internal and external professionals you will also need to be able to investigate background histories for selected candidates, compiling dossiers of information for the Consultants to pitch to their clients.
Top Researchers in the City are highly sort after because without their knowledge the Consultants would not be able to win retained fees for their work.
This role is not a sales role, however the ultimate goal for Search firms is to charge fees and make money and therefore you need to be motivated by success and working in a project based environment. As you progress you will be able to attend the interview processes of the top 10% of City professionals and assist in meetings and pitches with clients.
We are looking for someone with strong academics, an interest in the economy and global Banking markets and a combination of analytical skills with relationship building ability.
