My client has a strong brand with an amazing legacy and some fantastic products and services to get your teeth into. They have 450 stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland, which makes it one of the largest non-food retailers in the country. They differentiate themselves from their competitors through their national store portfolio, broad product range, competitive pricing, customer service and strong brands.
Are you interested in making a real difference to a well renowned retailer? Would you like to ensure that customers have the best experience in store? If so then this position, which looks at how best to plan and use the space within retail stores, could be a great role for you.
You will be responsible for:
- Looking at new, existing and potential stores ensuring that the space in stores is used as best as possible and that it does not impact the customer's experience negatively.
- You will help to feedback to the business on how the location of products has an impact on sales performance.
- You will need to take into consideration the units required but also the customer's shopping trip, making sure that the layout makes logical sense and the space is used wisely.
- Liaise with category management teams on how their products are performing
Requirements:
- 2:1 or above in Maths, Economics or related numerical subject.
- A minimum of 280 UCAS points from your top three A-levels or international equivalent.
- Advanced Excel skills - ability to do V Look-ups and Pivot Tables, Macro's are a desirable skill.
- A strong interest in retail and customer experience.
- Strong communication skills to liaise across departments.
