Allen & Overy Graduate Scheme

Graduates on the training schemes would be involved, from the start, with high profile cases in whichever field they are currently immersed in. International options during the training process are available in the second year. All applicants will get a training plan tailored to them, which allows the selection of the the different areas the placements will involve, as well as selecting one area as the priority department to train. Graduates are encouraged to take part in pro-bono and community projects alongside their training, to maximise experience. Professional skills courses are run alongside your technical training. Upon qualification, personal and business skills courses are still available.

What you need:
Individuality.  There's no such thing as a typical Allen & Overy candidate - quite the opposite in fact.  We're open-minded and interested in people who share that quality.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a strong academic performance - you'll be heading for at least a 2.1 (or equivalent), in any degree discipline, and have 340 UCAS points (AAB) at A-level (or equivalent).  But beyond this we want to see evidence of teamwork, communication skills, planning and organisation, problem solving, commercial awareness and commitment - to a career in law, and to a career with A&O.
