This programme will be based on a series of placements where you will work on real projects, aligned to your ambitions and interests, that will deliver tangible results to this global business. What will I be doing on the scheme?
You will follow a personalised and structured two-and-a-half-year programme with the aim of providing you with a variety of electronic and software development methodologies and approaches, as well as core skills gathered as you rotate through different functional areas within the division. In particular, you could focus on Electronics schematic capture, PCB designs and electrical designs but also gain exposure to software development (LabVIEW, C#, SQL and PLC) to support the design and development of integrated solutions and platforms for manufacturing and group service operations.
By the end of the scheme, you will understand the full process development function, including electronic, electrical, software, mechanical, and integration disciplines with excellent career progression opportunities and a meaningful role within our Manufacturing Services Division. Where will I be working?
This role is based out of one of our major sites in Gloucestershire (Woodchester, Wotton-under-Edge, or Stonehouse). We also have an opportunity in South Wales (please refer to relevant job advert). As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
Graduates applying for this position should have a 2:2 or higher in a technical discipline – Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, Maths, Robotics or other Engineering-related field.
