An established and values-driven organisation in the security services sector is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee the delivery of security and business support services across a multi-site portfolio in the London region.
This is a highly varied role with a focus on operational excellence, client relationship management, people leadership, and financial accountability. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting company growth and driving performance across contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee service delivery across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with KPIs, health & safety standards, and quality benchmarks.Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong client relationships, lead regular performance reviews, and ensure contract retention through excellent service.People Leadership
Manage a team including Contract Managers, Duty Managers, and front-line staff. Handle recruitment, coaching, appraisals, and HR matters with support from internal teams.Performance & Compliance
Drive performance through the use of technology platforms (e.g., TrackTik), site audits, and consistent documentation. Ensure all site documentation and risk assessments are current.Financial Oversight
Take ownership of the branch P&L, review gross margins, and address underperforming contracts. Control operational costs such as training, uniforms, and subcontractor use.Business Growth
Identify opportunities for service expansion and support business development teams in presenting innovative solutions to clients.Technology & Innovation
Encourage adoption of in-house platforms to enhance service delivery and reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in operational or regional management, ideally within the security, facilities management, or similar contract-based environment
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets over £10M
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site teams and client portfolios
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience handling ER matters
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data reporting systems
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and confident working in a dynamic, field-based role
