What will you be doing?

A Business Analyst is part of a team that is involved in the implementation of Prophix's Performance Management software with our clients. The position will report to an Implementation Manager within the Professional Services group, and will work extensively with our clients, predominantly in the office of finance.

You will be working with clients to understand their requirements and set up the software to meet their needs, and will execute the project deliverables as per the project manager's direction. This would include working onsite or remotely with the client to build out their Prophix solution.

Business Analysts receive tremendous experience in: project management, customer management and the consulting processes. Prophix supports Business Analysts in gaining an accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA as well as a competitive salary, bonus, pension and a structured career path.

+ A Prophix Business Analyst is a dynamic individual who has an excellent technical background and is looking to transition into a fast paced, customer oriented, consulting role.
+ The successful candidate will have strong inter-personal skills, be mature and confident when dealing with high level customer executives.
+ We are looking for an individual who will proactively seek solutions for our client's challenges.
+ The ideal candidate has a strong finance or technical background and is looking for a business-related experience.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

+ An Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business degree - 2.2 minimum, or part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA
+ Accounting experience is a definite asset
+ Superior communication and presentation skills
+ Strong organisational ability
+ Must be comfortable working in a project environment interacting with senior level executives
+ Must possess a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and be familiar with the financial statement preparation process. Comprehension of financial concepts terminology is required
+ Full UK driving licence

Prophix UK Ltd.'s offices in Reading - a key aspect of the role involves travelling to clients and working with them either on-site or remotely.
