As a Support Technician, you will be required to provide support for a wide range of technical issues relating to a busy media agency. This post involves performing troubleshooting of issues relating to hardware, operating systems and applications, and providing an appropriate level of advice on technical issues to a non-technical audience. You will be required to manage staff requests from receiving the initial call through to resolving the issue.
Requirements:
-1-2 years' experience of resolving technical issues with PCs and servers
-Very good knowledge of Windows 7, Server 2003 and Server 2012
-Very good knowledge of networking technologies
-Very good knowledge of PC and Server hardware
-Very good understanding of Windows Office applications
-Good understanding of HTML and web based technologies
-Experience in using and troubleshooting Apple computers
? MCP or MCSE qualification would be advantageous
? Previous experience of VM Ware virtual environments
? Experience of using and administering Google Apps for Business
