Our client is a global advisory firm. They have a focus on business litigation and financial investigations and support some of the biggest organisations worldwide.
An opportunity has arisen to join the organisation within their European Tax Advisory division. A market leader in tax advisory services, they offer innovative solutions to their clients' tax issues across multiple industries. Clients include a number of FTSE 100 organisations.
You will be exposed to a number of service lines across the full tax sphere. Our client consults on a wide variety of projects including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and insolvencies. They are able to advise and consult on all tax issues relating to these areas and more.
This role offers the opportunity to study towards a professional qualification (most likely the CTA) and you will be able to undertake projects and gain sure to:
- Corporate Tax
- Real estate advisory
- International tax planning
- Transfer pricing
- Indirect taxes
- Research and development
Overall this position will allow you to gain a solid an understanding and exposure to Tax and is a great opportunity to start your career in this area.
In order to apply it is essential that you are able to demonstrate a clear and vested interest in Tax. We do not expect you to be an expert in all areas the role will expose you to but a level of demonstrable knowledge is key.
In addition to this you must:
- Be on course for or already achieved a 2:1 or equivalent in your undergraduate degree
- Have 300 or more UCAS points from your first three A levels or equivalent
- Have a high level of critical thinking
- Be analytical and enjoy problem solving
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Have excellent relationship building skills
- Be motivated to complete a professional qualification alongside your day to day responsibilities
