The Company:
This international software company are scaling fast. They have recently received massive investment and they are planning to expand into new countries with their powerful financial software products.
The Role:
This is an opportunity to enter the technology industry and to utilise your problem-solving and analytical skills on a daily basis, whilst developing professional client-facing skills. The role offers early responsibility for recent graduates.
The company's software helps companies to maximise their profits and to work more efficiently with their customers and suppliers, by presenting financial data to them in a user-friendly way.
You Will:
- Be responsible for on-boarding new customers - this involves understanding their complex financial data and configuring the software effectively in order to manage that data and present it back to them
- Train customers to make the best use of the software
- Keep in touch with your customers, to provide support and ensure they are up-to-date with the latest features and updates
- Write content for online articles
- Receive a high level of training for the first six weeks, as part of a structured training programme, but coupled with early responsibility. You may gain exposure to clients in your first week in the job
- Have the opportunity to progress quickly into project lead and management positions, with potential for sideways moves within the business into different teams
- Work together with colleagues in international offices
- Travel to meet clients. This is less frequent during the pandemic, but more likely to be regular in future
Note that you will be required to work full-time in the office for the first six months whilst you are learning and developing in the role. You can then work two days per week at home.
You Will Need:
- 2:1 equivalent or above in maths, physics, chemistry, computer science, engineering or related
- Strong communication skills for speaking with clients on a regular basis
- Excellent mathematical skills and the ability to understand complex financial data
