Data and Information Architect
As a Data and Information Architecture for this Consultancy, you will enable organisations to maximise the benefits of their digital investments and transformations. Your work will play a crucial role in nationally significant projects that impact people's daily lives.
This is a remote/hybrid role, splitting your time between working from home, and client site travel around London, Guildford, Bristol, and surrounding areas (approx 1-2 days a week).
Roles and Responsibilities
You will apply your expertise in data and information architecture across various consulting projects and clients. Leveraging your skills in architectural practices, you will help large, complex organisations make data-driven decisions that deliver tangible benefits.
This role requires:

Strong written communication skills to produce high-quality, formal deliverables.
You will work individually or as part of a team on diverse assignments, which may include:
Creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Defining and promoting the adoption of data architecture frameworks, principles, standards, and policies.
Advising on the design and implementation of data governance and management throughout the data lifecycle.
Developing data solution designs or guiding the procurement and implementation of technologies such as data analytics, data virtualisation, or master data management systems.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in data architecture, modelling, and governance.
Proven ability to help large, complex organisations leverage their data effectively.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
Consulting experience with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to foster the adoption of modern data governance and management practices.
A flexible, consulting-oriented mindset.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with architecture frameworks and languages, such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, and UML.
Knowledge of data governance and management frameworks, such as DMBOK or similar.
Awareness of current data and analytics technologies, including data virtualisation, data fabric, and data mesh.
Experience with architecture tools, such as BiZZdesign, Archi, or Sparx EA.
A track record of facilitating enterprise-wide change across large organisations.
Candidates must be eligible or possess UK Security Clearance for this position.
