With experience stretching back over 90 years, the company are dedicated to providing and developing innovative solutions for and on behalf of the water and gas utilities, industrial manufacturers, waste management companies and NGOs.
This company are looking for graduates to support the recent growth and demand from clients within the water industry. In this exciting role, you will be involved in supporting Catchment Management specialists in catchment management studies and water quality analysis for and on behalf of clients, including the Water Framework Directive and UK regulators.
You will be offered a Graduate Development Programme which includes an individual training plan whereby you will be given excellent support for your learning.
You will be given the chance to attend structured training modules to enhance your management, business and IT skills and will engage in regular appraisals with your manager to assess your performance and develop appropriate achievement goals.
The role is highly varied but will include the opportunity to travel and work with a range of clients across the UK and EU. You will be involved in but not limited to:
- The collation and assessment of data on behalf of EU Member States and regulators, and via literature searches
- Produce statistical analysis and models based on findings and present results
- To inform and advise clients on these findings.
Requirements:
-2:1 degree in Physical Geography, Environmental Sciences or Geology.
-Have some background knowledge of GIS and water related issues.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
-A systematic and logical approach to problem solving.
-Able to work independently with a moderate level of supervision.
-Ideally have a driving licence (not essential to have own vehicle).
-Ability to work and travel across the EU.
