Graduate R&D Engineer

The Company

Specialist manufacturing company with bases in the UK and China.

The Role

Due to growth and investment this innovative company is looking for a graduate physicist or mechanical engineer to support development projects at their R and D facility. Here you will have the opportunity to manage your own projects and help expand the current portfolio with new products.

This is a varied role and will allow you many responsibilities including:

• Researching and developing new technologies via prototyping and testing
• Identifying materials and installing new equipment required for the development process
• Trialling improvements to existing products
• Supporting the engineering and production teams with improving existing equipment and processes

This role is to start ASAP.

Requirements

• A minimum 2:1 equivalent degree in physics or mechanical engineering
• Experience with any of the following; AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor, PLC software
• Strong technical background
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• You will need to be confident and able to work with a variety of people, be self motivated and enthusiastic
• Driving licence
