This company is a renowned marketing and media planning consultancy specialising in the use of data and analytics to understanding the dynamics of their clients' markets and brands.
They utilise econometrics, statistics and advanced data analysis tools to help marketing and brand managers utilise the right data to support business decision making. The result of their analysis is subsequently used to generate more effective advertising campaigns for their clients.
This company are looking to take on a number of graduate analysts to start from June to September 2022.
Graduate Econometric Analyst - £28K - Central London
You will work across a variety of projects with different clients, helping them to understand the impact of media and marketing efforts on their business. Transforming, analysing and presenting a variety of data, you'll also assist with building econometric models.
The first 1-2 months will be training based with practical application, before getting involved in real life client projects.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Learning and implementing econometric theories, analytical techniques and relevant tools
- Extracting, processing and transforming a variety of data
- Interpreting data in order to identify and communicate key insight in verbal and written form
- Assisting senior colleagues with building econometric models
- Creating presentations and presenting data summaries to clients
- Understanding clients' market position, competitors and project aims
- Attending internal and external meetings
- Providing support to the broader team

What Do You Need?
- Ideally an econometrics or statistics focused degree, however those with other degree subjects with a strong emphasis on statistics such as physics, natural sciences, psychology, data science, marketing science or similar will be considered (or equivalent)
- An interest in using data and analytics to help businesses make better decisions
- Excellent communication skills, particularly presenting technical information
- An interest in the marketing and media space
- An experience with Python would be a bonus
- Ideally available to start in June or July 2022
