The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in the technology industry.
Upon joining the Technical Support Team you will be given responsibility from day one. You will support the very latest technologies on a wide variety of projects.
You will use your analytical and customer-facing skills, speaking with international clients, with opportunities for travel to client sites around the world.
Training will be given on SQL server, the hardware and the software, and there are opportunities for progression within the Support team and other teams throughout this fast-growing business.
Responsibilities include:
- First line technical support on the phone and by email.
- Analysis of system reports.
- International travel.
- Training clients to use the software and hardware.
- Managing and sending customer notifications.
- Application and hardware testing.
- Maintaining records and creating support documentation.
Requirements
- 2:2 equivalent or above in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, ITMB (or a different degree with demonstrable interest in technology).
- Great communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong mathematics skills.
Desirable
- Experience with SQL Server or similar is desirable.
