London and International Vacation Scheme
London Vacation Scheme
The Firm's London vacation scheme provides a taste of what it is like to work for a global law firm in London. The scheme is open to law and non-law students in their penultimate year of study (or second or third year for those on a four year course).
This year we have three intakes from June to August. Each three-week vacation scheme comprises two seats, giving you an opportunity to experience two of our key practice areas.
Throughout the vacation scheme training is provided to familiarise you with some of our typical transactions and to help you develop key skills. We place great emphasis in involving you in ''live'' work. You will be an integral part of the team and attend client and department meetings as well as court hearings. Expect plenty of social events where you can hear more about the Firm and meet partners, associates and trainees.
International Vacation Scheme
The Firm's international vacation scheme provides exposure to all the great things you can expect from working in our London office whilst also providing an excellent opportunity to experience first-hand what it is like living and working in another jurisdiction and culture.
Each international vacation scheme lasts between six to twelve weeks, divided equally between London and one of our international offices. Recent locations have included Hong Kong, Sydney, New York, Chicago and Singapore.
The international vacation scheme is open to law students only.
The deadline for the London and International Vacation Scheme is 31 January 2013. Application is by way of an online application form which can be found on our website
Applicants must have at least 340 UCAS points and at least a 2:1 degree predicted
