Airbus Direct Entry Graduate (DEG) Programme
£25,000 and welcome payment of £2,750
Locations: Filton (Bristol) and Broughton (North Wales)
The Direct Entry Graduate (DEG) Programme offers graduates an invaluable opportunity to master the managerial and technical skills required by Airbus.
It is a two-year programme (three years for Finance) that combines structured placements and focused training.
If you meet the required performance criteria, this programme will give you the chance to enjoy a great future at Airbus. From day one, you will be assigned to a particular department and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function and the wider business. There may also be the opportunity for travel on European placements with Airbus and to work with external customers and suppliers.
The programme, while structured, is not rigid. It offers you the opportunity to tailor your first two years with Airbus, to ensure you are ready and experienced enough to enter a permanent role following the programme's conclusion.
Additionally, there are a number of valuable training opportunities including behavioural development and personal effectiveness, business awareness, technical understanding and cultural awareness. You will also be given a senior level career mentor who will offer guidance and support during your career progression, as well as a 'buddy' DEG from the previous year's intake to provide extra support.
The DEG Programme includes opportunities in Engineering, Programme and Project Management and support functions such as Procurement and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Finance and HR amongst others.
The DEG Programme offers many benefits. In addition to your salary and a welcome payment, you'll receive membership of the company pension scheme, 25 days annual holiday and financial support to help you achieve chartered status. A work-life balance through flexible working is actively encouraged.
As part of your programme, we believe it’s essential for you to develop the skills we value. As a result, 15% of your working time will be devoted to personal development. You can choose to take part in a range of activities including educational liaison with schools, Campus Ambassador Programme, community involvement schemes and fundraising for selected charities.
Requirements:
To be considered for our programme, you need to be fluent in English and have or be working towards a relevant degree.
