About The Role
Accenture technology graduates apply critical thinking and a tech-first mindset to solve our client's most difficult business challenges. On the technology architecture programme, you will develop your tech acuity with our graduate training induction, before moving on to client projects to tackle technically complex solutions using a variety of technologies, leveraging cutting-edge innovation and making it a reality.
You will be a trusted client partner, understanding client needs, defining technical requirements, and communicating how the technology solution will drive successful business outcomes.
What You'll Learn
You will grow to become an expert architect in exploring how a client's vision is achieved through using the latest technologies. Technology does not stand still, and our technology architects need to develop and sustain the skills our clients demand. Our technology architects have been at the forefront of new approaches to modern trends such as cloud, big data, internet of things, containers and digital technologies.
Accenture offers formal training schools for technology architecture and associated disciplines such as integration architecture and development architecture. Accenture also supports getting cloud-certified through a variety of internal and external training opportunities.
We'll also upskill you in the best delivery practices such as DevOps, Agile, as well as Accenture delivery methods.

Training And Development

What you know is what we can sell to our clients. So we'll invest in your development from your first day. And realising you need to be up-to-speed as soon as possible, we'll make sure you have all the training you need. As well as an award-winning induction programme and a supportive graduate community within the technology analyst group, you can look forward to mentoring from some of our most successful leaders. The training you'll receive will be broad and practical.
It will combine sessions that focus on critical soft skills as well as the technical skills you'll need to develop into a trusted and successful technology architect.

Where You'll Work
You will need to live within commutable distance of your home office which will be Newcastle upon Tyne. Due to the nature of our work, you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK and sometimes outside of the UK. You will need to be prepared to travel and sometimes live away from home for long periods of time.

What We're Looking For
Curious about technology and how things work, you will have a keen interest in pursuing a career in technology architecture alongside any relevant extra-curricular activities. You will have some experience and have a good understanding of at least one programming language or technology. Knowledge of current technology trends and the ability to discuss their application in society at present or in the future is also desirable.
You will be able to collaborate with clients and co-workers alike, with strong communication skills to inspire others to engage in new technologies.
You will be a creative problem solver who keeps up to date with emerging technologies and will seek to become an expert in your field. You will also need a degree in a STEM or business-related degree - (achieved or predicted).
If you are successful, you will need to be available for start dates between May and July 2022.
