The Company
A established start-up in the business intelligence, analytics and innovative solutions for pharmaceutical pricing and market access.
The Role
- Capturing business requirements from clients and internal client facing teams and transforming them into technical stories for the software developers.
- Overseeing the delivery of releases from conception to production, ensuring that schedules and quality standards are upheld.
- Setting and communicating development task priorities, appropriately balancing the requirements of the business with internal system improvements and assigning developers and QA accordingly.
- Overseeing the resolution of service client issues.
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the product, ensuring that it remains current and relevant to our clients and utilises appropriate new technologies to enhance user experience and drive down data maintenance costs.
- Ensuring that the development team, based in London and Mumbai, buy into the business strategy, appreciate their role in making it happen and are motivated towards delivery.
- Ensuring that the business is kept abreast of project progress.
This role would suit an experienced Product Owner, looking for opportunities to work in new sectors and with new technologies or a Software Development Manager looking to make the transition into Product Management.
Either way, you will have:
- A proven ability to deliver projects in an Agile environment across Global locations whilst remaining ultra-responsive to ad-hoc requests for supporting client projects.
- Experience in delivering scalable, robust, database driven web applications, utilising a range of technical frameworks, tools and languages.
- A can-do attitude, always looking for opportunities to drive the organisation forward through collaborating with client delivery and development teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to translate business strategy into a development roadmap and comfortable talking to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of client organisations.
- An ability to foresee risks and roadblocks and take early evasive action to resolve issues without compromising on delivery.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market access, pricing and remuneration industry would be an advantage but far from essential.
