This enables the likes of retail investors, institutions and local governments to invest in the UK's private rented sector through the funding of residential buy-to-let mortgages. Fully authorised and regulated by the FCA. They are looking at revolutionising the mortgage lending space with the help of the best minds in Technology and Finance.
The Role
If you're looking for an opportunity to work with an up and coming start-up, with plans of great growth over the next five years who are doing things the right way, this client will be a great match for you. They are working in a dynamic environmental with real tech driven engineers.
You will be working on a greenfield project, using the latest front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 and AngularJS 4. You will be actively participating in design and architecture for assigned projects with a focus on user experience. Imbues a culture of 'knowledge sharing' and 'doing the right thing' within the delivery organisation and the business at large.
Strong knowledge of:
- You can code! (Java 8, Spring Boot, JPA)
- You know what a good architecture looks like (ReST, distributed systems, eventual consistency, AMQP, high availability, ...). And more importantly, you know what a bad architecture looks like!
- You know what CI and CD mean and have used Docker.
- You're comfortable with databases, including designing them! (e.g. MySQL)
- You live and breathe Agile. i.e you know what we mean by stories, scrums, retros, branching, JIRA,
- You can find your away around most Linux OSs
- Bonus points if you've used: AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB), Terraform, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Redis, Memcache, RabbitMQ, NoSQL
