This is a unique role and would suit a candidate who has considered a career within PR or Marketing. The successful graduate will support clients who regard conference speaking as a strategic marketing tool but do not have the in-house resources to run their programme. The successful graduate will be responsible for sourcing the right conferences and events for a spokesperson. They will design programmes, organise pro-active placements, write scripts and speeches and create multimedia presentations.
The successful graduate will be bright and ambitious and will help drive key accounts and grow the business by supporting new business activities.
Responsibilities:
- Client liaison and relationship management
- Researching events and maintenance of event databases
- Evaluation of conferences and speaking invitations
- Content creation and writing pitch abstracts
- Selling into conference organisers
- Developing and managing relationships with key conference organisers
- Preparation of briefing material for speakers
- Measurement and reporting
- Support in development and presentation of new business pitches and initiatives
