The Isle of Skye Brewery was established in April 1995, the first commercial brewery in Skye and the Western Isles. December 1995 saw Our Products start rolling out the doors of purpose-built premises at Uig, Isle of Skye. Initially a part-time operation, production moved to full-time in October 1998 when Angus MacRuary, one of the original founders, gave up his job as head of business education at Portree High School to concentrate on running the business. Kenny Webster purchased the majority share March 2013. Our Beers are sent Out and About around Skye, Scotland and the UK.
