My client is a well-respected IT consulting firm that specialises in the provision, design, implementation and support of Enterprise Management Solutions. They have an impressive client list which includes many well-known companies.
They are looking to recruit a number of high calibre graduates to join their growing operations as Graduate Technical Consultants, starting from July 2016. Assessment centres are planned for December or January.
They are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic individuals with an outgoing personality and passion for software development and technology, who will enjoy working in varied and challenging client facing consultative roles. Work will typically be at client sites throughout the UK and other international locations such as South Africa, Kenya, Middle East etc. As such preference will be given to individuals with an open, varied and flexible approach to working in different cultures and environments.
From the onset, it will involve working on projects requiring the configuration, enhancement, implementation and integration of Enterprise Management Systems software and solutions, for an impressive and enviable client base. Initial assignments will typically be building and configuring software, however this will rapidly lead to greater involvement in project delivery and post implementation activity.
In return they will offer you the opportunity for excellent and rapid career progression via a Senior Technical Consultant role to Solutions Architect and Management Consultant level within 4-5 years, with on-going support for technical and professional development through hands on and formal training and certifications.
Requirements:
You should be expecting to receive or have already obtained a 2.1 level or above in Software Engineering, Computer Science or other very closely aligned subject.
You should be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge of the elements of the IT infrastructure covering databases, operating systems and networking, with programming skills in an object orientated programming language such as JavaScript. Although not mandatory, a good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX and development skills using web services such as SOAP would be beneficial.
