This company was founded in August 2006 with the vision of being a leading player in the field of Procurement and Supply Chain recruitment. They have also greatly expanded their recruitment operations within the Energy, Finance and HR sectors. They are happy to work on permanent, contract or temporary positions in these fields and work with a range of clients from SME's to blue-chips in all sectors. They recruit for major pharmaceutical, energy, telecommunications, consulting and retail businesses. Clients include ConocoPhillips, Total, Ernst and Young, PwC, Accenture, Deloitte, EDF Energy, Centrica, BP, Tesco, Bar Cap, Deutsche Bank, Nestle, Walt Disney, Vodafone etc. They are a small business who operates a flat management structure where everybody has their say. They are a growing business and have a fantastic record of staff retention.
Working in a small team, you will very much be in a sales-based role. You will be convincing decision makers of businesses to work with you in securing the best talent in the field of Procurement as well as marketing your vacancies to prospective candidates. This is a very competitive industry, in which this company is performing well, hence the need to expand.
Being a sales-based role there is of course the chance to make a lot of money on top of the basic salary of £20k. They have a really strong, simple commission structure which is one of the most lucrative that we have seen. You should be looking to earn in excess of £35k+ in your first year. The company also offers spot prizes and have recently taken the staff on an all-expenses trip to Portugal to reward them for conquering sales targets.
Requirements:
This company is looking for real go-getters. There is no place to hide in a small business! You will need to be degree educated ideally in a 'traditional' subject with the equivalent of at least a 2.1 grade. You must have some proven office based work experience which can be either during or post study. You must also be happy making cold-calls as this will take up a substantial part of your day-to-day work. Other than that, the company will be assessing your level of communication skills, your commercial acumen and your overall dynamism.
