An investment bank is looking for technically minded candidates for their 2017 technology programme. The role will see you join the technology division and work on a range of business critical projects. We are looking for candidates interested in training as Business Analysts or Software Developers or Programmers, who want to work on real projects and take on responsibility.
You will join a specific business unit and work with the business unit to understand their technical needs. You will gain a solid understanding of the existing IT infrastructure and work on projects to drive forward the technology that assists the day to day business activity. You will work on real projects from day 1 and will be able to bring your own ideas to the table.
The role will also offer extensive training to aid your own career progression, both from a technical perspective and also for personal development allowing you to, in time, take up senior management roles within the organisation.

Requirements:
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technology. You do not need to come from a Computer Science or IT degree background, but you must have demonstrable exposure to and a solid understanding of technology. In addition candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to forge and maintain working relationships with a range of colleagues from all areas of the business
- A demonstrable interest in Investment Banking and the financial markets
- Willingness to take ownership of projects
- A desire to expand your technical understanding through formal professional training
- An analytical approach to problem solving
- A keenness to work in a forward thinking environment
- Availability to attend assessment days in Feb and March 2017 and able to start work in September 2017
