A leading international provider of Corporate Advisory, Financial Advisory and Restructuring services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading global firm and work as a Finance Analyst within their Forensics, Pensions and Litigation advisory division.
The role:
As a trainee analyst you will rotate through key teams within the division and gain exposure to a range of teams and tasks including:
- Forensics and Litigation Support: Here you will investigate and analyse financial disputes and disagreements. In time you will be able to provide a broad range of expert witness, valuation and investigation services to clients in both a distressed and non-distressed environment
- Pensions Advisory: Here you will provide financial analysis and strategic advice in respect of funding pension deficits, corporate transcations and restructurings.
Throughout the programme you will work in a client facing capacity, where you will work on a projects that will you require you to investigate, analyse and research clients and market conditions allowing you to become an expert in your chosen specialisation. You will also work toward the ACCA qualification which is fully funded and supported by the employer
In order to apply candidates should:
- Have a strong academic background and be on course for a minimum of a 2.1, having achieved 320 UCAS points or international equivalent
- Be able to be based in Manchester for up to 12 months on secondment
- Have strong Microsoft Office skills: including advanced Excel skills
- Have excellent numerical skills
- Be an effective team player who has the ability to use own initiative
- Have top level communication skills
- Have a passion for problem solving
- Be motivated to complete a professional Qualification - ACCA
