This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Life Sciences graduate to join a small, friendly marketing team that values and rewards hard work. As a Communication Assistant, you'll be providing support to a number of life science and pharmaceutical clients' accounts.
Key responsibilities include;
- Assisting MD and account managers in delivering various marketing communications and projects
- Producing life science written materials such as press releases, articles, case studies etc.
- Managing and maintaining clients' social media channels such as blogs, social media etc.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to brief
- Proactively seeking out and identifying new client promotional opportunities i.e. news, article ideas etc.
- Confidently liaising with media professionals i.e. trading media, pitching articles etc.
- Assisting with ad hoc marketing tasks such as Email and PPC campaigns, marketing collateral production
Progression is very much based on individual merit and can be quite rapid, with increased opportunities for client interaction, strategy input and business networking.
- Life Science background, particularly Molecular and Cell Biology, Biochemistry
- Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms
- Attention to detail, particularly grammatically
- Interest in marketing life sciences and pharmaceutical companies
- Natural relationships builder
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Driven individual, able to work well independently and in a team
