Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Business Development - 13 Month Placement (July 2023)
We are looking for a motivated, confident, and eager to learn individual to join our Digitalisation team for a 13-month student placement. This role involves supporting the maintenance and growth of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to facilitate the delivery of powerful data insights. Reporting into the Product Owner of Sales and Service Cloud, the successful candidate will support the team by undertaking tasks such as completing daily salesforce administrative tasks, acting as a key contact for our CRM platform users, building reliable reports and dashboard for business stakeholders, supporting the development and rollout of key CRM related projects across the business, and creating informative training materials for end-users.
What will you be doing?
- Operating as a key point of contact for stakeholders in need of salesforce support.
- Undertaking and managing daily salesforce admin topics such as User Management, Report and Dashboard building, and other ad-hoc topics.
- Supporting Marketing Cloud and Sales and Service Cloud projects across multiple regions.
- Working with key suppliers and agencies.
- Liaising with Product Owners, stakeholders, and agencies to complete projects.
- Creating and delivering Salesforce training resources for the wider business.
- Participating in regular calls both in person and remotely.
- Operating in a lateral working culture, collaborating with colleagues across the department and wider company.

Qualifications and experience
- Studying towards a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or another Technical-related field and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above.
- Competent in the full Microsoft Office software suite, coupled with an aptitude to learn new packages.
- Salesforce Administration and Analytic knowledge is advantageous but not essential, as is experience in a CRM environment.
- Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for presenting information, allowing you to liaise with stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Strong numerical skills.
- An ability to work well under pressure and to challenging timelines.
- A passion for processes and technology is essential.
