What To Expect

During your 12-month placement, you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in R&D with P&G involves, and if it is right for you.

You will be working on live business R&D projects and are expected to dive straight in and take the lead. This will be part of our amazing Gillette team based at our UK innovation centre in Reading, UK.

Each intern receives a customised learning plan to ensure they get the right levels of coaching, mentoring and training as they deliver their work. What You Will Gain

• Responsibilities & Real Work from Day 1: You will be given specific projects and responsibilities working on real and live business challenges, just like a true P&Ger.
• Continuous Training & Coaching: You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager.
• Competitive Compensation & Benefits: This is a paid internship; the monthly salary for this role is £2,250. On top of this you’ll enjoy lots of benefits like the option to enrol in our pension, discounted P&G products, perks and flexible working arrangements.
• Full-Time Role: Successful interns have the potential to secure a full-time position with P&G after graduation. As a 'build from within' company, our people start at entry level and progress through the organization. What We Look For

• Studying scientific or engineering degrees (or equivalent), graduating in 2024 or 2025
• Requirement to develop lab skills as part of a degree
• Evidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong passion for research and innovation
• Strong verbal and written English language skills
