About The Role

As a Bid Co-ordinator at VEV, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by identifying and delivering transport decarbonisation tender opportunities for the public sector across UK and Europe (France, Germany and Netherlands). As such language skills are key for this role - fluent English and German is required. Tenders opportunities could include of all or some of VEVs unique end-to-end EV charging solution from design to hardware installation, operating software and maintenance. Your responsibility will be to write and coordinate tenders to deliver high quality submissions to win tenders.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and deliver high quality compelling tenders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and organisational policies.
• Identify tender opportunities by searching public tender portals.
• Analyse tenders to determine fit to VEV strategy and summarise opportunity for internal decision making.
• Prioritise and plan delivery of tender to ensure a quality response is submitted within the required timeline.
• Coordinate internally to ensure the relevant input is received from cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across the departments.
• Monitor tender performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Drive a culture of accountability and excellence within tender delivery teams.

What you need:

• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and German, both written and spoken.
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven expertise in co-ordinating complex multi-stakeholder tender responses or projects.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes is preferred.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Experience and knowledge in the electric vehicle or renewable energy sectors is beneficial but not essential.
