Transport for Wales Graduate Scheme
Role: Communications and Engagement Graduate
Location: Pontypridd
At Transport for Wales (TfW), we have big plans to transform the Welsh transport network. It's our vision to connect communities, create jobs and make travel across Wales and the borders more accessible than ever. That's where you come in.
You'll have the unique chance to blend formal learning with practical experience. Working closely with different teams, you'll help to deliver a wide range of communication and engagement projects and activities. With a collaborative approach, you'll keep key stakeholders updated on progress and create great working relationships. Paying close attention to detail, you'll make sure projects are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. You'll also have time to focus on your own personal project.
Throughout this two-year course, you'll work towards achieving a professional qualification. As part of your learning, you'll take part in six practical development workshops and four webinar sessions. Plus, you'll combine your academic and practical learning to deliver a personal project that contributes to TfW.
To apply, you'll need a degree in a relevant area. This could include: branding, business studies, communications, English literature, marketing psychology, media, politics or public affairs. You'll also have an interest in transport and sustainability and feel confident delivering multiple projects. Creative, proactive and organised, you'll get the best out of this scheme.
Work or volunteering experience in a related field is desirable, as are Welsh language skills. If you're keen to develop your skills, we want to hear from you.
